Sally A. Edwards and Sarah J. Edwards – the creative duo behind BLAG, will present their next edition, Vol.3 Nø 2 themed Passion & Patience in its original form. As a full scale exhibition it will show Sarah's photography as large fine art prints, Sally's designs as art and sculpture. Together with film and audio footage of music and film talents featured.
Passion & Patience will explore the ownership of pop culture by making the works of the magazine available publicly in a gallery as opposed to solely online. It will examine prediction as opposed to retrospect. Showing how BLAG champion's talents –established and tomorrow's brightest stars.
It will ask the question, does this work – with such a rich influence, set-up and time consuming arrangement – have to live entirely in a printed book or online anymore? We will investigate the perception of BLAG as "just a magazine."
